The speaker is Al Hodgeman, CIC, Senior Development Specialist with Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company and owner of Training Works. Al has 21 years of experience as an educator/consultant within public education in Iowa as well as 11 years of experience as a manager and development specialist in the training and development field within the corporate education industry. Al’s experience includes practice in researching, designing and delivering a variety of learning opportunities as well as facilitating groups of various shapes and sizes within public education, business and non-profit organizations. Training Works was developed to engage its learners, allowing them to personally connect to the content and thus, enabling them to learn deeply, quickly and with longer retention through the use of accelerated learning techniques.Examples of content areas where Training Works are experience includes communication, team development, customer service, conflict, management and leadership development as well as developing relationships.
