CPCU 2013 – 2014 President’s Message

The Iowa Chapter has approximately 630 members which makes us a jumbo chapter and the third largest chapter. This year we are welcoming 44 new designees to our chapter. Members are committed to professionalism in the insurance industry and to high ethical standards. Many of our members have qualified for CPD (Continuing Professional Development) recognition. One of our members, Robb Kelley, served as President of the national CPCU Society, and nineteen of our members have been inducted into the Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame.

We have an active chapter driven by dedicated volunteers who for the past ten years have achieved the Gold level of the Circle of Excellence Recognition program for our many activities.

We deliver quality programs and activities to our members. Our yearly activities include: monthly lunch meetings; All Industry Day (I-Day) and conferment luncheon; new designee reception; technical workshops; ethics seminars; and a charity golf outing.
